I am very excited as I have never done one of these before. Also I feel like I am having an interview like they used to have in Smash Hits. But I'm not Matt Goss from Bros and I am asking the questions to myself. So here goes!
How did you feel when 'I Owe You Nothing' went to number one?
Sorry getting about carried away with the Bros analogy will start properly now...
What/Who encouraged you to start blogging?
When I was on maternity leave with the boy I was proper knackered. And whilst both were napping I used to have a little look on You Tube for silly videos to keep me going. I stumbled across Sprinkle of Glitter's channel and began watching hers, Zoella's and Tanya Burr's videos and vlogs. In turn I looked at their blogs. I thought I could have a crack at it. Tried Tumblr. Failed miserably. Left it a few months. My sis encouraged me to have a go again and the rest is history!
How did you choose what topics to blog about?
A lot of the time things just pop in my head. Maybe something the kids did (for example their annoying habit of not playing nicely). Or something that comes on the tele (like my Beyonce letter). I have found that linkys have helped to focus my writing a bit. I know it's good to do an outdoorsy type activity each week with the children. As well as a creative one. Then these can be linked up into other blogs (and obv are also fun things to do). Also it's good to take lots of photos. I used to do this anyway. It means I now just don't bore people on Facebook anymore. I bore them on my blog!
What is something most people don't know about you?
I think I have blogged about all my dirty secrets; like my love of reality tv, pop music and the fact I used to be a boy band fan (stalker). I can fit my whole fist in my mouth. There you go. It's one of the ugliest things you will see. But you didn't know that did you!? Unless you are my friends reading this. Then you've seen it and can concur it is horrific.
What three words describe your style?
Mmmm honest, funny (ish?) and positive.
What do you like to do when you aren't blogging?
Well I teach RE at a secondary school two days a week. Rest of the time I am looking after the little ones. I really enjoy going out with the fam. I love going to shows and concerts and gigs. Both with and without the sproglets. I also heart the flicks. Oh and spending time with my friends blah blah (again they will be reading this so big up your bad selves).
