Word of the Week: Break

Hello! I am back from my jollies and what a fabby time we all had. 'Twas aces and whilst away I didn't use my phone so was off all media type things. Even texts! So the word of my week is:

We went to Lanzerote with the fam to celebrate the Mother's 60th. Which included the rents, my sister Claire and her mate Shelley. On the whole the weather was great, the food was yum and the company marv. A range of interesting things happened from the police being called on me at the airport (a story probably never to be told but as I didn't get arrested so clearly I was right), a day of sun stroke illness (curse my fair skinned ways) and the whole family dancing on a bridge to 'Timber' (there is video evidence the Husband so don't deny it!). Great times.

As I previously said I didn't go on social media when I was away or blog or text or anything really. Was brilliant. I thought it would be like I lost a limb but I seriously didn't miss it at all. It's been years since I've not been on Facebook. However I did come back to texts telling me one friend is preggers, one had a little girl and one is moving to NYC! So I suppose a lot can happen in a week.

So apologies in advance but all things I will be writing this week will be holiday based with pics of sunnier climes, parrots and ice creams. Below is one to keep you going. Happy days.

  1. Your break sounds fab (apart from the sunstroke). It's good to get off Social Media every now and then I think x
