My Mighty 2 Tackle the Plum Mighty 4!

A month or so ago me and the boy reviewed Plums Little Yums and we decided they were a little bit too young for him. So we were pleased to see that Plum have recently brought out their 'Mighty 4' range aimed just for toddlers. I got them delivered the other day and thought oh we shall trial them over the weekend at some point. Maybe on a nice sunny bank holiday picnic (some hope!).

Then. My little monsters, I mean children, bloomin woke up at 6am AGAIN today. It was a bit too early for breakfast and they have gone off having milk so I thought yes the time is right for them to have a suck on one of the Plum 'Mighty 4'. They are packaged like the baby food pouches available for puree's. I did baby led weening with my boy, but in a rush I always shoved a fruit pouch in my bag for when we were going out. The dream is that these are re-sealable. So can be popped in the fridge if they haven't been finished. Aces.

The Plum Mighty 4 range is made from a combination of organic fruits such as strawberries and blueberries, veggies, grains and Greek-style yogurt, they contain a daily portion of fruit/vegetable and nothing artificial.

Firstly excuse the madness of the way both my children look here. They are not hobos who I have dragged in off the street. They are mine. They have got bed hair and the girl is in a wonderful jama combo worthy of catwalks. Notice the Christmas bottoms. Anyway. They both loved holding the Mighty 4 pouches and the boy really, really enjoyed it. He gupled the whole lot down with a huge smile on his face. The girl? Did like it too but as she is approaching three and a half maybe it was a bit to little for her taste buds who are well versed in the way of Smarties. But for the one year old he loved holding it, walking round with it and generally thought it was brilliant.

Overall the Plum Mighty 4 are a great idea especially for those recent toddlers that loved the pouches when babies and need something a bit more substantial as they are growing up. They are super quick and easy to use. And I think they would be lovely for a pudding or if you are up early and need to give them something in the car on your way out. I may (did) have had a little suck and I think they would be even better from the fridge as they have yogurt in them and reckon cooler they would be proper lovely!

For for further information please visit the Plum Baby Website.

We were sent these to trial but all views are my own based on my children, in their mad pyjamas, reactions!

  1. We love them here too! My kids still love pouches as treats and it's nice to be able to give them something that's more filling than just the pureed fruit isn't it? #TriedTested

    1. Any time my boy can eat alone is the dream with me. We did baby led weaning and although it was a bloody mess at least it means they become quite independent xxx
