Hozelock Pico Reel Review - Watering Fun in the Sun!

We all know one of the fantastic things about having little ones in the summer, is shoving them in the garden and doing a bit of messy play that we have no desire to do in our actual house. So when we got sent a Hozelock Pico Reel hose to try out? I couldn't wait to shove my two in the garden and get them soaking wet!

The best thing about the Hozelock Pico Reel is that it is super, super light. My little girl could carry it quite easily. She managed to carry it into the garden and had a little go at watering the flowers. It weighs less than two bags of sugar! It's really compact and small so it would be possible to store easily under the sink for quick access if you didn't want to keep it all the way down in the garden shed.

With five different settings it really has something for everyone. Brummydaddyof2 was mainly excited by the most powerful setting to help clean down the patio. Whereas the kids and I used the lighter settings to have a bit of a water fight!

What I will say about the Hozelock Pico Reel is that it is only ten metres long. So this is not the hose for you if you have a larger garden. But ideal for people with smaller gardens or if you have some plant pots on your decking and don't want to have to get your big hose out. It's really small and light. And would be handy to have around for something to use quickly. We did have to buy an extra part to make it fit our tap, but that was relatively cheap and easy to fit.

Even though this wasn't really what it should be used; it did make a great little hose for playing in the garden with the kids. My girl really loved running around carrying it and splashing her Dad. I luckily managed to escape a total soaking. If you want to find out more about the Hozelock Pico Reel please visit their website here

We did get given this product to review but as per usual these are my honest opinions!

We're going on an adventure
