Wicked Wednesdays 3rd September

Hooray! Well we survived summer and now we are back into the old routine. I have returned to my part time job as a teacher and as much as I miss the little ones loads I am relishing chatting about dead serious things like the Kardashians and being able to eat a packet of crisps. ALL TO MYSELF! Which quite frankly is my dream. Hope your little ones are enjoying getting back into the swing of things and that you get the chance to enjoy a hot cup of tea either at home or at work.

We had some brill photos last week and my favourites were the beautifully made up toddler boy over at Parenthood Highs and Lows, carrot v child at Everything Mummy and the utterly psychotic beheaded dolly from Clarabella Q. All brilliant and hilarious shots. I can't wait to see what you have got for us this week. Remember to tell any new bloggers about the linky and any ones returning from the summer!

#wickedwednesdays rules
brummymummyof2

  • Firstly. Please add my special badge of my daughter weeping when I said she looked like Pat Butcher (?!).
  • The linky requires no words - it's summer and we've not got the time really have we? But feel free to write a few lines if you wish. I think no words is sometimes even funnier. We can make our own stories up then!
  • It will run from Wednesday early morning till Friday late evening. But feel free to link up any old photos from other weeks. One post per person but you can put a few funny pics if you wish.
  • I will comment on each one and if you include my twitter handle (follow me on @brummymummyof2) and #wickedwednesdays I will share your comedy picture.
  • Try and comment on as many as you can, let's say two would be a good minimum.
  • If you also hashtag your piccy #wickedwednesdays on Instagram I will regram a few favourites each week with your handle and hopefully you will get some new followers.
  • That's it! It's just a bit of a giggle really. Enjoy!
You know when you spend £15 on play doh sets and then? They make you this play do cake. Urgh.

  8. That's the joy of play doh! And stop buying it - make some, it's far cheaper and you can chuck it in the bin at the end. (Can you tell how bitter I still am about all the playdoh that I have bought too?)

  10. I hate Play-Doh, but I hate the colours being mixed together even more. I only ever allow one colour out at a time (such a fun mum aren't I?!)

  11. Mmmmm yummy.

I remember when playdoh came in only 3 colours (and we walked 40 miles to school in the snow with no shoes on etc). This new stuff with all the swirly machines and stuff completely bemuses me.

  12. You know this used to bug the hell out of me, I hated it! Now? I couldn't care less! The kids growing to teens made me miss silly things that used to irritate me, now with Harry, I just enjoy them xx

    1. This seems to be the general consensus. One a week seems to be the way forward! xxx

  14. When I was little, I HATED mixed colours in my Playdoh and refused to ever make anything where the colours got mixed - I was mortified by the play sets that encouraged mixing of colours (or even stacking layers of different colours like when making a hamburger) for fear of getting them mixed together. I guess I've always been a bit OCD about certain things. :-)

    1. Oh you sound like you were the dream child lovely! I am proper OCD and a bit of a neat freak which does not work with two toddlers xxx

  15. This is just like our house!! The playdoh gets squashed together & presented to me as "it's your birthday cake" then they're off...and me, in my anal state, end up picking it apart piece by piece to separate out the colours.
    This made me laugh xx
