I think you may have got the idea now that my girl is a bit of a princess diva. Mainly because I am a bit of a princess diva. I know it's not looked upon kindly but she fits nicely into the toddler girl stereotype of loving pink and girly. She also is obsessed with her name now. Since going to pre-school she can both read and write it. OK so any word with an E on she thinks is her name but she's getting there.
When I was approached by the very lovely and clever Stitches & Lace to try a pair of their customised pink girls Converse 1) I was rabidly jel they weren't for me and 2) knew my girls head would literally explode. And it did. They. Are. AMAZING! Arriving with the cutest little bag and sparkly laces, the pumps (does anyone use that word anymore? That's a real Mumsy word isn't it?) have her name sewed on the side with a little diamante over the i. Sigh. Le dream.
Stitches & Lace customise girls, boys and adult Converse and cover a wide range of styles. I think they make pretty ace Christmas gifts (be quick last order is 7th December!) or a really nice present for a Christening or first birthday. Something super snazzy to keep forever as a reminder of teeny tiny feet.
And HUZZAH! The lovely people over at Stitches & Lace are giving you the chance to win one pair for your child. The prize is a pair of Stitches & Lace personalised baby or child's Converse (anything up to a UK size 2), worth £40. As seen here and here. Options are as follows:

Colour thread: any at all!
Personalisation: up to 10 characters of embroidery on the outer sides of each shoe. Diamante may be used to dot any 'i's, but this is not recommended for babies or very young children.
