Family Festival Tickets Up for Grabs!

A few weeks ago you may remember me talking about the winner of 'Best Family Festival' at the annual UK Festival Awards each year, Wychwood Festival. It all takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse between the 29th and 31st May. Well the exciting news is? I have been granted the dream of offering one lucky family of four (two adults and two children under 15) a pass to the WHOLE weekend including camping (but you have to bring your own camping stuff)! Wahoo!

There are things you may expect taking place at this festival like real ales, comedy and live music but why Wychwood is different and ideal for families is there are things on offer that you might not expect. Like the joy that is Dick and Dom, a kids literature festival and 100's of workshops for all ages. Including MUSICAL THEATRE (my dream).

Headlining this year is Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Oh the thought of a bit of Pimms whilst the kiddos listen to that, and yes I would be wearing a floral crown, fills me with glee! Also on offer is the ULTIMATE Brummies in the form of UB40 AND an acoustic session by The Wonder Stuff! Come on babs! I know the hub won't be able to wait to hear The Proclaimers and my little ones will giggle at Dick and Dom, as well as in no way shape or form being forced by me to do musical theatre (#momager).

And for some exciting news Wychwood Festival has teamed up with BBC Introducing and announced 30 new up and coming acts to join this years line up such as The Commonjets, Speak Brother, Grassroutes, The Folly Brothers, Emily Burn, James TW, Chase the Deer and many more.

Wychwood have also announced their family programme workshops and activities for all ages, including The Children’s Literature Festival, Yoga, Circus skills, Dance and more for more information please see here.
