Bedroom Tour And JYSK Competition!

If you follow me on social media you will know that I recently moved house. It was the hardest of work and I intend to NEVER do it again. One of the reasons we chose this house was because it had a bit more room and a third floor loft bedroom with a...wait for it...en suite! Which was my dream. No waiting for small people to go for a wee? Perfection! My husband's only requirement was that he had a king size mattress and the lovely people at JYSK sent us one to review along with a topper. They also have given me the chance to offer you lot a couple of prizes. Which you will find at the bottom of this post...

JYSK mattress

maison du monde, oliver bonas, anthropologie, waitrose

JYSK sent us the S50 GOLD DREAMZONE mattress along with the PLUS T42 DREAMZONE topper. Our new King Size bedframe is from Ikea and we chose it has it had three drawers either side for us to use for our clothes. We've opted not to have wardrobe in the room. The mattress is so comfortable and I can't believe that I've never had a matress topper before? It's a real game changer. We had our old bed for 15 years so if was definitely time for an upgrade. As I have a bad back it's been so nice to get a good nights sleep and not wake up feeling like an old lady.

homesense

Decoration wise I decided on lots of blacks, whites and greys in the room. With accents of metallics like gold or copper. Homesense and TK Maxx provided a lot of the knick knacks such as an amazing Gin candle and our copper lamp. Whilst plants came from Sainsburys and Waitrose. They were surprisingly inexpensive. As was the really simple gold side table from Maison Du Monde.

ikea rail

ikea alex drawers

Moving house ate up a lot of cash so I bought with me my IKEA dressing table and Alex drawers (see an organising video on that here) and opted for a rail for my clothes. I'm trying to only have out the outfits for that season. Whilst the rest are in storage. I will keep you posted on how I get on. For a more in depth tour and further details on where everything is from please go and watch my room tour below.

Now for the exciting bit. JYSK are offering one lucky reader a new 7.5 TOG DOUBLE DUVET TRONFJELLET and the joy of a MATTRESS PAD 135x190 PLUS T42 DREAMZONE. You can check out further information on them here. All you need to do is fill in the Rafflecopter below. The competition will be open for two weeks and the winner will be notified by email. Good luck!
