My Little Boy And My Little Pony #AD

One of my favourite toys growing up was My Little Pony. My sister and I used to love playing with them for hours and hours. I can even remember the smell of them. When I found out I was having a little boy I did wonder if my two would enjoy the same games. However I am lucky enough to say my daughter loves playing superheroes just as much as my son likes playing with My Little Pony. So when Argos asked me to work in partnership with them on their new range of My Little Pony accessories and toys? I jumped at the chance.

I had a good look through the items available in Argos and chose three I thought they would love. If anyone has more than one child you know it can be a real struggle to get them to share. So I opted for the My Little Pony Filled Backpack for my stationery crazed girl (takes after her Mum), a lovely My Little Pony Buggy for my boy who has been desperate to have one like his sister has. And I threw caution into the wind and ordered the My Little Pony Canterlot Castle Playset for them both to gulp...share.

As we have been out and about quite a bit this holiday (when it's not been pouring with rain) the filled backpack has been great to shove in the car to take on play dates or just for some entertainment on long car journeys. It's filled with everything a stationery obsessed six year old adores. A folder, pad, pencil cash and a fancy pen. Also the bag has a few pockets in it which I know she has filled with all the VITAL things a person needs. Namely a fidget spinner and a happy meal toy.

Seeing my four year old with his My Little Pony buggy made my heart soar. It's really easy to have boys play with certain types of toys and girls play with another. But given half the chance little boys like baby dolls just as much as little girls. We are really lucky to live close to the park so he often takes it for a quick spin. It also folds up really easily so you can pop it in the boot and take it to the local supermarket. I'm happy to say the My Little Pony Canterlot Castle was a roaring success. With two characters in the set they didn't have to fight over the one toy. Whilst I would say perhaps pack the tiny accessories it comes with in a bag. It's a great little castle to get out on ANOTHER rainy day!

Thanks so much to Argos for allowing us to review their new range of My Little Pony accessories and toys. Not only did it keep my two occupied during the never ending summer holiday but it also allowed me to relive my youth. Don't forget that Argos is able to fast track toys to your house for just £3.95 seven days a week, or there is a faster collection option in 800 stores around the UK.
