Our New Years Resolutions With Marks And Spencer

If you have followed my blog for a while you will know that December is an insane month. Not only do we have the joy that is Christmas we also have; my birthday, my daughter's birthday followed by our wedding anniversary and right at the start of January? My son's birthday. Yes, yes, all very poorly planned. What with Father Christmas visits, seeing family and just the general mayhem of the festive season. I always breathe a bit of a sigh of relief come January. It's a time for fresh starts and resolutions that I may (or may not) keep.

As my children seem to grow a foot a month, January is also a time where I like to give the school uniform a little refresh. So I was over the moon when Marks and Spencer asked my pair to try out some bits and pieces from their range. I often get their uniform from there. Not only does it look great but it also dries really well in the tumble dryer which is basically one of my main joys in life. Clothes I can shove into dry and walk away from.

2018 is going to be an exciting year as we are booked to go back to Walt Disney World in May. As soon as January 1st rolls around I can start making plans for where we are going to eat and what we are going to do. I am also going to save really hard as this year Halloween falls in the kids half term so I would love to visit Disneyland Paris again in October. We will also be returning to Camp Bestival and hopefully have our annual few days in London. One of the best things about my two growing up is travel now is exciting and not a pain in the bum. So my resolution is to get out and see the world more. One Disney Park at a time.

This morning before school I chatted with my two about what they want to do in 2018. My soon to be seven year old said that she wanted to do some more writing at the moment. She's currently averaging six stories a week about someone finding a key that leads to a magical kingdom. So let's hope she expands her repertoire a bit. My four year old wanted to "get more cuddly toys" (I HATE cuddly toys) and to go to our local park every day. I think this is something I can get on board with. Bar when it rains. Then it's totally Dad's job.

So whilst to some January is a bit of a gloomy month in our household it's a time to regroup and relax. There's no manically hiding presents around the house, organising birthday parties or making tiny party bags. There's planning for a whole new year and me mainly wondering how many Disney trips I can fit in without my husband totally losing his mind. Thanks so much to Marks and Spencer for sending my two some new school gear. Please check out their range of uniform here.
