Hooray! The sun came out again yesterday! It appears to have gone again now. Which is crap but it was there for a short while. So we decided to take the littleuns out for the morning. My boy loves animals and the girl loves a playground. So we went to Woodgate Valley Country Park which is not far from us.
There is a little farm there (where you pay a £1 donation into an honesty box), a nice adventure playground, a cafe and then you can go for a nice walk down to the stream through some beautiful fields, some of which house horses. Despite being in Brum it does feel like you're properly in the country. Really pretty. Well worth a visit. But check times for the farm as sometimes it is closed! Especially in poor weather.
So here are some pictures from our day out. I will defo take my two there again next time it's sunny (whenever the hell that will be!).
Ah, gorgeous photos! Looks like a fab place to visit, and like you, Boo likes playgrounds and Little Man likes farms, so would be perfect! We tend to got to Sandwell Valley Park for that as it's a little close for us. Let's hope that sun comes back soon! x
