Owl Decoration from Hobbycraft placed in the centre of a Poundland tinsel wreath
Paperchase chalk sign (last year). Large elf from Webbs of Wychbold.
Small elf from TKMaxx (last year). Crack in door? Unknown!
Above I have some little Christmas toys gathered over the years from M&S and a gingerbread man pillow from Dunelm Mill (last year). Also this is the place we store most of our little toys in the Ikea Trofast system. You can just about see it but on some of the drawers I have actually written things like 'boy dolls', 'jigsaws'. Yes, this makes me OCD but also makes for a quite tidy playroom.
Above I have our memory wall with frames from all over the shop including Ikea and eframe. We put up special paintings and photos and just keep adding and adding to it. Much to the HATRED of my other half. On the door we store our kids coats with these dead simple hooks from available at Primark. We have them on loads of the doors in the house and they really are an ace and cheap storage solution.
Please note the signed Rastamouse book! HELL YEAH! Hanging from it are some gingerbread men from our lovely local Webbs Garden Shop and then a little storage shelf from by Tiger which also houses some Tiger Christmas decorations and some nativity characters we have picked up along the way.
Christmas Tree Webbs Walled Garden Shop (last year), Merry Christmas sign Poundland (last year) and tree bunting Laura Ashley (last year)
I filled the little book nook with Christmas books we have collected over the year and also put in the dream fawn pillow from Asda. Which I LOVE and am sad I will at some point have to remove it. We have a teeny tiny Christmas pink tree below with a range of baubles on that have memories for the kids. I suppose next year we will have to upgrade to a more neutral one for both of them. Tinsel on the mirror and tree is from Poundland and the woodland decorations and gingerbread man are from Hobbycraft. Our other bit of storage in the room is from Laura Ashley. We brought it with some of our wedding vouchers.
Love your Christmas decorations in the playroom - it looks very festive. We've got out all the Christmas books too, forgot about the toys though so will have to hunt those down as well. Love your picture wall - what a great idea :-)
