Rainy Day Fun With Magformers!

There is nothing more depressing than a rainy day summer holiday day. Unless? You have sneakily hidden some toys you were sent to review and decide to unleash them on your tots! HOORAY! Luckily we were sent a fantastic Magformers WOW set to review. So I literally looked like the best Mum ever when I revealed it to my two.

The clever Magformers set contains 16 brightly coloured magnetic pieces. Including squares, triangles, two sets of wheels and a little man. The set also comes complete with some cards which help your little ones make all sorts of shapes and vehicles out of the magnets. My girl started off with a hexagon and quickly graduated to making a space ship much to the delight of her little brother.

We then sat down together and she helped me to make a car. As it was our first attempt I did most of the work and she passed me the shapes. It was really good to see her showing off her understanding of colours and shapes and this is a tool that will definitely help me my son to know them too. The set was really easy to understand how to work and the cards really were a help.

It was a perfect rainy day activity and my two loved playing with them all afternoon! I even managed to have a cup of hot tea. Imagine! For more information about Magformers pop over to their website here!
