Camp Bestival Chic!

I don't know about you but this heatwave we have been having has got me all excited for the summer holiday. And this year, as we have for the past two years, our break starts with a visit to the amazing Camp Bestival. It really is one of the happiest places on earth for us. So I thought I would share some of the items I have been eyeing up to wear whilst we are there.

Festivals are great to make fashion choices you might not always do when you are walking around Birmingham City Centre. It's a time to let loose and have fun with what you are wearing. I always try to channel my inner boho chic. The Yellow Bird Embroidered Skater Dress (1) from New Look is perfect for a festival. I love the bright colour and the embroidered pattern is bang on trend. Whilst I want to look fab at Camp Bestival I also want to be comfortable. These Birkenstocks (2) easily ordered online from Mastershoe will look great and put up with the miles I will be walking around site.

The denim dress (3) also from New Look is lovely and lightweight. Which is perfect as it's generally really hot in beautiful Dorset. It will look lovely on its on or with some over bold accessories. Such as an over the top floral headband from Primark (7). You also can't beat a pair of giant Topshop earrings (8) to get you in the summer spirit. The theme for this years festival is Pop Star/Rock Star so I think during the weekend I may don some vintage pop t's like this Madonna one from Old Skool Hooligans.

Denim is perfect to accompany any t-shirt and I loved this a-line blue buttoned one from JDY at New Look (5). It would look amazing paired with the Madonna top or this boho inspired cropped top from Topshop (6). One of my favourite summer bag styles that I come back to time and time again is a saddle bag. In fact? I think I have a bit of a habit forming. If you can't stretch to a leather one then this pleather style from Accessorize (9) is a great second choice. Finally no Camp Bestival experience is complete without face paints and Snazeroo (10) are by far the best ones. They last all day and come complete with glitter pots to really make you sparkle. I can't wait to spend a weekend with my family, good friends, Pimms and glitter. Whilst we dance the night away to Madness. Perfect.
