Family Fun With McDonalds!

One of my kid's favourite treats is a trip to the local McDonalds. With summer holidays just around the corner I can guarantee we will be popping in a few times to grab a Happy Meal them and a McFlurry or three for me. To make our experience even more enjoyable, McDonalds have now introduced a range of fun family based activities in some of their restaurants. We got sent them to trial at home and who knew my two would LOVE playing Snakes and Ladders so much?

One of the best things about the kids growing up is that we can play actual games with them now. They love competing with each other and can concentrate for more than three minutes at a time. Which is a great improvement on this time last year. When anything than longer than a minute would descend into strops and shouting. So when the postman dropped off a giant happy meal box they loved having a good rummage through the treats that McDonalds sent us.

My particular favourite game from those available to play in the restaurants was Jeepers Peepers. Watch our vlog to find out if I cheated or not (I totally did). McDonalds are also offering some great bits and bobs for the kids to take away with them. Including a fab activity mat that my four year old absolutely loved, Fortune Teller, Face Mats and a certificate. You can check the McDonalds site here to find out where the nearest free Family Fun Event is. Updated every six weeks you are bound to find something close to you.

Thanks so much to McDonalds for sending us some brilliant fun family activities to try out at home and I can't wait to pop into a restaurant to have join in one of the Family Fun Events in the coming months. And OK you've twisted my arm. I suppose I better have a McFlurry as well.

I am working in a paid relationship with McDonald's and BritMums on their Family Fun Events campaign. Discover how McDonald's is helping create an enjoyable experience for families in restaurants to make it an even happier experience with quality time here
