I wanted a new wreath for our front door this year but until it gets a bit closer to Christmas I chose the one above to hang off our guest bathroom (and by guest I mean just the bathroom but I wanted to sound like I live in a huge house). It looks really natural and will last a lot longer than a real wreath which is ideal. I would like to say I am the kind of Mum that lets her kids decorate her tree. But I'm not. They each have an individual tree that they get to decorate with sentimental baubles and they keep them in their bedroom. Our main tree is covered in white, copper and silver ornaments. I chose two different styles including the handpainted Ikat baubles and the speckled ombre ones. I love the way they look together and the way the fairy lights reflect off them makes me heart happy.
I already mentioned my love of cotton so also in the fireplace I added cotton sprays and a sage and berry garland to an old vase we had. I added another tree in the form of the Cox & Cox miniature white one and then to be honest I have NO clue how it happened but I chose a furry felt sheep. Which looks like it's trying to take over my miniature tea light village! I've not quite finished the fire place in the living room but if you look below I have began by adding some more cotton sprays and another miniature white tree. Also the cosiest lit copper twigs. Which I think may become a year round installation. I love them!
I adore the way the front room and living room have turned out. It's beautiful when it's night time and the room is glowing with fairy lights and lit twigs. It makes me so happy. Especially when you throw on a few candles and a made for TV film about a Christmas romance. Thanks so much to Cox & Cox for working together with me on this paid advertorial.
