The programme started in 2016 and has already raised £500,000. Which in turn has helped more than 1500 young people develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education. The way that you can help is by popping into your local Homesense store, donating £1 at the any till and hanging a paper bauble on the Christmas tree. I decided to pop a little message on mine and it's lovely to know it's going to hang on the tree all festive season and help raise money for vulnerable young people. And of course whilst I was in store. I had to have a little mooch around and pick up some presents and OK, a few little items may have fell in the trolley for me.
To see a full range of the last minute gifts I picked up make sure you take a nose at the 'Come Shop With Me and Haul' below. Homesense, which is part of the TK Maxx family, is always my favourite place to visit to get decor that you don't tend to see in other shops. Not only do they do they BEST candles in the world (fact) they also have some really unusual items, with savings up to 60% everyday compared to the recommended retail price. In the haul I pick up a couple of great Prosecco topper sets as presents for my sister in law and Mum and I also pick up the world's most adorable door stop. Which basically looks like an angel version of me.
It was such an honour to work with Homesense. It was great to discover that one of my favourite brands is really trying their best to help vulnerable young people in local communities to achieve their potential by supporting The Prince's Trust. If you are one of the customers who hung a bauble on the Homesense tree I hope you are super proud of raising money for such a great cause!
